We have had a few inquiries as to why we did not include a "CAPTCHA" routine as part of the WowUltra package.
In our observation it doesn't eliminate spammers. Elimination is our goal, and the some of the automated spam software alerts the "human behind the curtain" when there is a captcha routine allowing them to defeat it if time permits.
Advancements have been made in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology also that allows it to decipher many of the captcha images. It isn't the actual program out of the box that can accomplish this, the modern ones "learn" as they fail or succeed at completing registration. This is scary but true.
When we come up with something that definitely works then we will pass it on to the program.
