Jim Good morning. 2 questions - 1) wouldn't the sub forum show when you clicked the main forum it was below. so if you clicked on Chit Chat here - you would see all the threads in Chit Chat AND the subforum on top, or somewhere. Right now you dont see that. And second question - if you post in the subforum, wouldn't that show on the main front page as the last post (does not currently here). I checked 2 other sites with subforums and that seems to be how they operate on other sites. Just curious.

The subs are listed in the upper right beside moderators, but even before I went to bed last night I came up with a better plan. I can put it in a cell just like the ad mod I posted at Wow. I can't figure out if I should put it as the first cell or the last. The first would be easier but what if you had a million subs? The base topics would get burried. If you had your topics set to show 100 the subs would get burried. Seems like there is no fool proof method, I have to choose the most popular one. Go run a poll on your board for where to put the subs.  J/KI'll post pictures of it both ways and see how it looks the best.

lol I think you should list the sub forums on top and I only say that because that is the only way I have ever seen it done previously.

Jim; One other thing. I never received email notification of your reply to me in the sub forum. Could that be something that needs to be looked at. Just thinking out loud with feedback. Thanks JA

It makes me wonder. I know it isn't the "board" because php sending mail is so basic. But because of the 100's of complaints about mail not being sent...... deserves an investigation of some sort. I have a theory but need to check it out.

James, I did check the e-mail function on another server (VDS) and it does send notification if you have marked it to. There is one e-mail I have that this board sends me and one it won't. Must be that same problem as on the wow forum because this board is on a wow server. Anyhow I changed the code a little, look here: http://wowultra.com/forum/forum9/

Jim - I am sorry. I never got an email that there was another post in this thread, lol. sorry about that. I like the look with the subforum listed on the top like that. Yes I could but in my opinion it becomes a forum at that point and not a sub forum. The little numbers on the right exhibit topics and post. I have however considered cramming the last post arrow in there.....

Not necessarily the actual forum theme, but the way the subforums are listed on this view and how it works and what it shows.... thoughts.
