You just launched it! It takes at least a month to get crawled sufficiently by the major search engines. All good things take time, new boards are not like new Wal Mart's sitting by a major highway. The boards I see that are doing the best stick to one service or one subject, yours is a one service board. Give the existing members good info and word of mouth will take it the rest of the way. I think your concept is solid and it's only a matter of time.

also, join a forum ring. if youre a member at various forums, post a link of your board in your profile or sig (if their forum rules allow). have a link exchange with other forums. as for your original question, IMO, i think the many forums/subforums might scare people off. i would try and condense some of the subforums and as the site grew, then of course, the subforums will grow.

Good start. Here is the feedback you requested - I love the side box wowulta theme. that looks good. I do agree with Di above that initially, and when you do not have a lot of posts yet, having all those subforums makes the board look very busy, yet there are currently no posts in many/most of the forums. I would recommend removing most of those subforums and if you start to get a lot of thread/posts about one particular topic or location, you can create a subforum them and move all relevant threads into it. Next I think you might have a little to much open and wasted space in your site header top area. that is probably because of your circular logo and then all the space between the google ads and the top edge of the forum. Question - you have the URL for the site listed in the top center? why. The logo links back to the home page or you could add a menu box in the side boxes. Just a question.
