A member of my family is setting up a laser tag business and obviously hopes to get lots of custom. They will have 17 games per day and can have up to 40 players per game. To begin with, the booking will be done manually with diaries and booking sheets, but I wondered if anyone has come across a computer program which would make this a lot easier? There would need to be a place for the person's details and number of players they are booking for. Theoretically, they could have 40 names per game if people all booked singly. I have puzzled over this but can't come up with a better solution than the diaries and booking sheets at the moment.

i would suggest doing it the old fashion way and then if the business warrants it, find a local company that specializes in business software and have them make a custom program tailored to your needs, that way you can be assured it works properly and serves your needs precisely and will be expertly supported. the last thing you need is for a program your unsure of to crash and fudge the whole thing up possibly creating chaos. there is one of those laser tag places in my town and they have stats (shots, kills, etc) on TV screens. I believe there is an existing program in the entertainment industry for this type of game playing (stats, teams, etc

They do have that James, it comes with the equipment but does not cater for bookings. Purely as a score sheet for participants. Thanks.

ahhh, so you need the management system for the front desk area and booking the appointments. Then I would suggest looking into software that is used in hair salons or massage parlors where they schedule appointments in advance, keep records on the computer of past visits, treatments, etc.
