I tried to prune all the non active users on our site, however it doesn't seem to find them.  It was set to registered users with posts less than 1 and no results.

I've never tried it actually, I'll throw a board in debug mode and try it tonight.

Try removing the figure 1 and leave that part blank.  I found this works for me in the Wowbb boards.

Yes that worked for me as well a couple of years back. Probably time to do it again...

Cool but if it doesn't work I will look in to it. It is up to me to squash all bugs even the ones that were in the apartment before I moved in. We need to start a list of them....

Could someone give me an update as to how, or even if, this pruning system works?

I prune our forums regularly and just leave topics up to about 6 weeks old in certain forums. Some forums we retain the topics.

In Admin/Advanced/Prune Topics

1. Choose the forum you want to prune
2. Check mark the type of topics you want to prune (eg. open, closed etc)
3. Where it says replies less that, I remove any figures there.
4. Enter the date you want to prune from and hit the Prune button.
5. Depending on how many topics you are pruning, it can take a little time to complete.

Word of warning.  Make sure you get the right date.  When I pruned topics at the beginning of the year I got my years mixed up and pruned the lot in one forum!!

I hate to sound stupid, but if you leave the number from the "posts less then" field out, will it only prune those users who haven't posted? I don't wanna accidentally prune people who shouldn't be. Also, let's say you accidentally prune the wrong people/topics is there a way to undo it?

I just use this when pruning topics. Once they are pruned they disappear and unless you have a recent backup you lose them.
