If i get the data 1 hosting and a wowultra liscense do you guys install the forum for me or do i do it i don't know if i posted this in the right section if i didn't im very sorry.

whichever way you want to do it. If you want us to install it, we can install it. If you prefer to do it, you can  we can even convert your wowbb board to an Ultra board if you wanted to transfer your database from your wowbb board to Ultra

You can post your request for us to install your board there

You have to be careful though, for routines like spell check in IE, search engine friendly URLS, database backups in the admin panel and avatar re sizing to work the server has to be configured for that. Being we host mostly bulletin boards and many Wow and WowUltra boards, our servers are configured to support ALL the functions of the board. We use industry leading Cpanel even though it costs more, and allow SSH and SFTP access. Don't be fooled by places that offer you tons of space for very little, just type "problems with" and then the host name who ever it might be in a google search, it will scare you. Plus I personally configure the servers and have root access. What else do you need?

Do I have to pay for a license if I host the board with you? I currently have a trial board....do I have to buy the software if I host with Data 1?

Hi Phil, Thank you for your interest in WowUltra! Yes you have to purchase a license to be able to use the software. A license is for life and entitles you to service and upgrades. Data 1 is owned by us and the servers are configured specifically for PHP/MySQL bulletin boards. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you- Jim

Well thanks. Guess I will be ending with the trial board then nice to get to try it anyway....be hard to justify the price right now....... What boards do you offer with your hosting? Please do not tell me phpbb or smf I hate both...........
