 Does the program currently offer an option to broadcast a message when a change to the calendar is made.  If not, (I cannot find this anywhere as an option) is this being considered?

 whenever a calendar event is posted, all registered users receive a message indicating a new event has been added/changed and provide a link to the calendar. I guess this would be similar to the PM notifications.
