I am looking at a commercial venture, so need to monetise my forum. Is it possible to have external links /google adsense incorporated into the design of the website with the forum the main feature but maybe google adsense between my logo and the actual forum and also maybe a side bar with external links down the right hand side ,ie a search engine, external links, banners to advertisers.

Id be looking at a full hosting package with yourselves if you could set it up this way. To be honest, I havent a clue about all this msql/php database stuff so would prefer just to pay someone , (hopefully you can do it all inhouse, including maybe designing a logo)

Id also want my own domains (already registered) to point to the forum- is this possible ?

Hello and thank you for your interest in WowUltra!

We don't have a stock theme with side menu but it is relatively easy to add one, we could assist you when it comes time. We do not provide the adsense code but if you can copy it we can place it in cells. This would be in addition to the purchase but very reasonable, we would quote it when it's time.

If you host with us (we own http://data1systems.com) you can point your domains to the nameservers for our system, you will be given the server names with the confirmation e-mail after signing for hosting. Make sure to put the domain name you want to use in the field on the "more info" page.

OK Jim, Thats what I want. know how to point my domains so once I get the server names we should be up and running.
All I want, really is my forum to be a bit like the format of
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/
or
http://www.singingpig.co.uk/forums/ regards to the extra bits at the sides.
We would also eventually like to provide extra non forum type extra pages(showcase) for premium advertisers. could we incorporate this via sub domains on the same hosting package eventually? ie can the hosting package expand as we (hopefully) expand ?

We have the ability to upgrade you to a bigger plan, come up with a custom plan, or even move you to a dedicated server when the time comes with a few clicks.

There are unlimited sub domains with all accounts or you can simply have different pages in different folders. Kind of like this site where we have a main page then the community is in the /forum folder.

Hi Eric,

its definitely doable to do a site similar to the examples you posted. as Jim stated above, it will cost a little extra outside of purchasing a WowUltra license.

PM me or Jim with details of what exactly youre wanting on a site (colors, etc).

Di
