I notice there is no disclaimer with the exception of the "13 years old or older" at the bottom of a registration page.

Is it possible to add or do you already have a disclaimer box with confirmation button (I have read the above and comply....blah, blah, blah....click here to register.....) type thing BEFORE one actually begins to type in their info?

This is something very important to me.

I am currently running a wowultra trial board. Thus far I like it a lot. It's just powerful enough to get the job done but simple enough to keep me from writing three page tutorials to teach new moderators and admin.

I will be making a final decision before my trial period is up on whether to purchase or not. The only thing really holding me back at this point is the registration disclaimer.

If I missed it, my appologies in advance.

Thanks

Torque

Hi Torque,

There is a way. Go to admin panel/advanced tab. On the left there is a link for "language editor", click that. The page that comes up can change entries in what is displayed. It is a long list, the easiest way to get where you are going is to press ctrl/f on your keyboard.... that brings up searc in most major browsers. Type "13" in the search box and it will jump to the area you need. Edit the right hand side to say what you want and scroll to the bottom to click save.

Not real easy, but that's how to do it!

You can use custom profile fields to add required fields to the registration, admin panel/users tab. On the left is a link to the custom profile area. You can set fields to be required upon registration.

I could write a book on this one area so play with it first please and see if it makes sense to you. If it doesn't jump out at you post exactly the effect you want and we will giude you through the specifics.

Sweet!

I own a VB3 board and I'm more familiar with VB, but, I inherited ownership of the board years after it was already in place. 99% of the leg work was already done and this is my first "from scratch" so it's a learning curve. I'm liking the software more and more as I toy with it. I'll have more questions I'm sure.

Thanks Jim

Regards

Torque
