The completed list for WowUltra 1.15:

1. Admin selectable side columns and menu positions. There will actually be 8 different choices, most of them Jim has had to do custom work to achieve on customers boards.

2. Sub forums will display last post in right column.

3. User activation, most of you have this already.

4. Admin can register users without having to use the CAPTCHA.

5. Unconfirmed members will not show birthdays on the calendar.

6. Ordinal post numbering.

7. Admin can jump to edit profile from view profile

8. Users can delete their attachments in custom profile fields.

9. Admins can delete or upload attachments in edit profile without becoming user.

10. Edit profile tab in view profile only for admins.

11. Forum jumper inspired from a script Outlandish is using but fed by forum permissions. I'll post a small tutorial on adding manual links if you need to.

12. Much better but not perfect HTML 4.01 validation. Board will look very similar in IE, FF, Opera, Safari.

13. Email on new registration to board e-mail showing registree username.

14. Default tab in admin is general settings now.

15. Changed Admin panel link on top.

16. User signature shows in their profile instead of the code.

17. New admin controls for subforums. Subs pull no queries on index (what a relief!). Admin controls for subs pull less queries.

18. Announcement mod

19. The ability to have subs vertical or horizontal selectable as admin.

20. Individual sub elements (icon, description, stats) can be turned on and off in the admin panel like a light switch.

You mean on the index area? I think it should be an option for the admin. Jim stated he didn't do it because he like it not there, so it's probably split amongst users.

i like the subforums showing the last post.

several of our members have mentioned that even tho there are new posts in the subforums, the last post not showing up on index tends to make the board look "dead" and not active at all

I agree. I know Jim said he thinks it should be separate and I'm sure others might think so too.

I personally would like to know as sometimes the main forum has no new post so you can't see what the new post in the sub forum is without clicking.

Lots of good additions. Great work Jim and Di!

This is the only software I've seen with this.  Great creativity, allows essentially 8 themes with one design.

5. Unconfirmed members will not show birthdays on the calendar.

With the captcha, this shouldn't be too bad now.

8. Users can delete their attachments in custom profile fields.

9. Admins can delete or upload attachments in edit profile without becoming user.

Big Must

I agree with Di 100%. If someone posts in a subforum and that is the only post in that main section, it MUST show on the front page that a new post has been made, so the board activity is shown. MANY members just go the front page of a forum and look for the icon showing activity. Many members do not use the "recent" or "new post" tabs. This is a great upgrade to the already very good subforum mod. I can't wiat to see it in action. thanks for the hard work!

Just added, a custom side box editor that will affect every theme. It is finished!
