Hi folks, I set up a trial board here at http://goldwingfacts.wowultra.com/ and all went smoothly. I have one small problem though. I've added extra buttons at the top of the forum but they only show on the Ultra theme, which I think is the default theme because it is the only one with main_1 and main_2 templates for me to add the extra buttons. They won't show up on the Shades theme which I prefer, or the other stock themes. Should I be adding the buttons to another template as well?

Hi Steve, There is really no "default" template in Ultra, the dependant themes run off a set of templates in the themes folder. This was necessary to do the "shade of shades" routine. As it turns out I imagine if you wanted to use the shades theme it would be difficult to do that. I put main_menu3 and 4 in there (for the menu layout routine) but didn't put the regular ones in there. I'll do it on your trial and make a note to do it globally. Good catch-

Thanks Jim. I might play with the Ultra theme colours as the extra buttons work there and see what it looks like.

Steve, I fixed it in yours and as I mentioned will do it in the software. You can add buttons in your yellow theme now.

wing, good to see you over here checking things out. You should definitely consider switching your boards over to Ultra. After doing almost 1 total year of research I am using Ultra for my new board (not yet released but coming soon) and I will be switching all of my other boards to Ultra also in the near future. There really is no comparison, and I say that honestly after looking at all other options out there. I would go so far as to say that the current version of Ultra, and especially the way the admin area works, is better then VB or phpbb3, both which I have recently used.
