I'm thinking about changing to this version. Do I need to remove my old wowbb or will this one work on the same server with the old one ? Thanks.

Hi Luther,

If you are converting from a WowBB, we provide a file that updates your database, then you have to delete all the wowbb files and replace them with ultra files (except for avatars and smilies).

If you want we can install it for you. The database has to be from 1.7 even though if it isn't we can convert that too....

Thank you for your interest in WowUltra!

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll be getting this version for sure. I have one more question. I can't post in the message box using firefox. It works fine with explorer.

That is a bug, sorry. Different versions of firefox react differently but basically it works as WYSIWYG about as good as I've seen for a bulletin board.

I am a constant firefox user myself.

Ok my forum is 1.65 and I downloaded the upgrade for it. How can I keep my messages? I want to get it ready for this one. I've just got to have it.:)Jim wrote: Hi Luther,

Luther if you go to WowBB private support and post a request saying "Jim said he could upgrade my wowbb from 1.65 to 1.7" they will probably assign it to me and I can do the upgrade. If you want Ultra then knowing you have 1.65 I have a converter for that too and would just do it prior to the ultra install.

In other words I'll make it easy for you however you want to do it.

Jim
