Just had the new 1.5 installed last night, and today I'm like a kid in a candy store ;) What a fantastic job! The menu variations are awesome, which leads me to my question...

I've created a sidebar section labeled "Support Our Site". Within that, I inserted 4 graphics, all of the same size. But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to put a slight space between them. I've tried the <br> command everywhere I can think off. If that doesn't make sense, take a look at http://www.civilwarinteractive.com/forums/ . How can I get a slight space between the graphics on the left sidebar? Thanks for any help...

Di,

Thanks for the try. That does the same as the <br> command: even tough I put it after the html for each graphic, what it does is create a gap between the table header and the first graphic instead of between each graphic. But again, thanks for trying. Maybe other members will have an idea...

The genious just posted once without code tags and had to delete it.

Anyhow add the bold to make the end of each cell look like this:
</a><br>&nbsp;</td></tr>
See if that does it.

Jim,

I'll second the genius designation. Worked like a charm. Many thanks....

The first alone should work and would for firefox, I'm not quite sure about all other browsers so it is safe to put both in there. It was the placement more than anything, you can put the break outside a table or inside a cell but not between rows

I have been trying to do that forever. Without the upgrade(yet) and using IE7. can I do this as well? and if so where exactly does it go....I was just looking in my c-panel in side templates text and don't see anything that looks like it. THANX!!!!

You could but since we have the beige theme done now do you just want me to update you tonight? The new side box routine is easier and seems to have sparked an interest in side boxes throughout the Ultra community.

Anything you do to a side box now will affect every theme and every side menu configuration.

Also to clear up any confusion I believe you are speaking of the boards Admin Panel? C-Panel is a trade name for the hosting control, where you go to set up e-mail and create databases.

I sent you a PM on your board last night but Di has updated beige since then.

Jim

Cool, I stand corrected then. The new version has a really good custom editor for the side boxes.

I know you have Royal also, I'll have to get rid of that till we come out with the other. I'll switch all royal and otherwise users to beige, they can change back when we get the themes done.
