Can some please explain to me how the calendar works? When we first had Wowbb boards, there were a lot of postings about spammers adding things to the calendar so I removed the button from our site. I was going to do the same in Ultra but one of the coordinators says she finds it useful. I have unchecked view and post public events for members. I did ask one of the members to try to post something to the calendar and she told me she had, but it was not visible to me, although the permissions are set for admins to view and post public events. Now that is when I got confused........not hard for me to do that LOL

Well the captcha prevents spam users for the most part but I had a quick mod that removed unactivated accounts from the calendar... not sure if Jim built this in or not.

Mag, your member probably posted a private event. Even as admin you can not see others private events. Best thing to do is just play with it! The problem with unregistered users birthdays and site links showing is cured in Ultra. The calendar is by far not bullet proof, but it gets better every release. There are changes slated for the next release too but just internal organization stuff, there are reasons I won't give details till the release.
