Twice today I have written a fairly lengthy pm, hit send and had an error message saying the user could not be found (or words to that effect) and to hit the back button.  OK it was my mistake as I had mis-typed the name.

Trouble is when you hit the back button, everything that has been typed disappears.  Is there a way to stop this happening?  (I mean the message disappearing, not me mis-typing that is beyond even Jim's expertise   rofl)

other than copying and pasting your message onto a notepad before sending, i really dont think there is a way.

Jim gets mad all the time after hes written a long PM (and hes a hunt and peck typer) so he has learned to copy and paste onto notepad himself.

the PM system is getting reworked as well. I wont ruin the surprise tho

Could you not just highlight and copy your text. No need to paste it anywhere unless your message goes wrong. Then if something does go wrong you can then use paste to put it back in your PM. I know that works because I have just tried it.
