The question came about because of a problem with registering new users and putting them in the right groups. I was thinking in terms of a politcal forum that I wish to run, where users would list their political affliliation as a part of registration. Or say if you wanted to put together a set of different groups for males versus females. Is there a way to set a question in the registration that will automatically put users in a group based on their answer? If not, do you think it would be of interest to others here?

I find it interesting. At one point I wanted to make the subscription thing so you don't have to pay, admins could set up free subscriptions where members could join groups they wanted instead of being bound to one group. Upon registration is possible too but not currently a feature. This release of Ultra was more the "Admins cut". The next one I plan to throw a few handy user features.
